4.5.6 Perspectives

For capacity development at the local level, the project will provide training courses for DPOs on advocacy and lobbying, financial management and leadership.

In the coming months the NSDP Inclusive Committee will also focus on intensified lobbying and awareness activities. They will produce a short TV documentary to raise awareness on the situation of people with disabilities and the need to include them in poverty reduction measures.

The NSDP Inclusive Committee also plans to increase its legitimacy and to represent a wider range of people with disabilities, and therefore intends to establish a working group entrusted with developing a strategy.
